Continuity Tester : It is used to check the continuity of current in different electrical ciruits.so with it you can check   switches,lighting fixture and other devices for faults.It is operated by inbuilt battery.



Multi Tester : It has many extra features.It is used to check the AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current) current,voltage,continuity of electrical circuits etc. It available in market of two types

• Analog Tester: It has a needle over a scale.In it there is more chances of human error in reading values.
• Digital Tester :Digital meters use digits in place of a needles. it is more accurate than analog tester.and so measurement is very easy

Wires And Cables

• Always choose wires after checking the amperage rating of the circuit,see Wire guage chart
• To join wires always use wire connectors

• Do not run cables diagonally between framing members.
• Run cable between receptacle 20" above the floor.
• use pigtails to join more than one wire to screw terminals.

• Connect only a single wire to single screw terminal
